Changes! We have begun to use Adobe PDF to aid in distribution of the newsletter and schedule (the two most difficult pieces of this site to maintain). This means that to view either of these docuemnts, you will now need to have the Adobe Acrobat Viewer installed on your computer. If you do not have this free software, please click on the linked icon below. Once you have this software installed, it should be very easy to open, view, and even print the newsletter and schedule. Please contact Craig (just follow the "Contact Us" link on the menu at the left) if you have any questions, concerns, or difficulties with this new feature.

Sun Bear said the only way we'd make it through the Changes is by working together. He said Creator didn't put us on this planet together for all of us to be loners, to live alone or to try to "make it" alone. He said we're all here to learn to live together, helping each other and celebrating the dance together. "It's more fun, you know, Bright Owl, when you've got others to dance with," he said to me once. "The more, the merrier." He envisioned the world after the Changes as all of us living in villages together. The Bear Tribe was his village. Chaneeg Chaneesch is mine, my chosen family, my heart sisters and brothers. I am grateful for all of them.

Here we will post our semi-annual newsletter which will probably give you all you want to know about us. There is more information about the ideas behind intentional community in the teaching section of this site ("Applied Practical Spirituality" on the main menu). The sister holding energy for all of us from the perspective of Involved Community may soon be moved to share with all of us what she is learning about this.

We welcome your comments by e-mail ("Contact Us" on the menu). Please note that all other contact information has been removed from the newsletter for privacy's sake. We also have not included any of the amusing graphic content due to copyright issues. I hope you find this distilled version informative and helpful.

If you are running a smaller screen resolution (800X600 or smaller) you may find the newsletter too wide for your screen. I apologize for any hassle this may cause you, but it is a limitation forced on us by our current newsletter program. Most of the articles are in a two column format anyway, so you can scroll down one column, scroll over and read the next one. Thank you for bearing with us in this matter. (If you have questions about the screen resolution issue, feel free to ask me.)
